On March 25 and 26, 2023, the very first edition of the AMBERT BD FESTIVAL took place, an event for which Joubert Lacour is an official sponsor.

The Moulin de Nouara (cultural and tourist center of Ambert) was transformed into a comic book mill for a weekend. On the program: artists’ signings, initiation workshops to comics drawing, comics battle, caricatures, drawings exhibition and animated concert.

The association has selected a dozen authors and artists from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, of different styles and horizons. Children, adults and teenagers could come to discover and exchange with the speakers.

But that’s not all! The association had also planned a foodtruck for the event, salty and sweet snacks, and musical entertainment throughout the weekend!

In total, 1000 visitors for this first edition!
